Tivoli Gardens Park – Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen, Denmark – Amalienborg Museum in the Palace of Christian VIII, Little Mermaid, Kastellet, Marmorkirken / Church of marble and something extra: Tivoli Gardens Park - an ideal place to take your family or girlfriend to visit. It is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world and Walt Disney’s inspiration for Disneyland. The park was opened on August 15 in 1843. Initially, it was named Tivoli & Vauxhall. It was done so on one hand to hint at Tivoli Gardens in Paris and the name of the locality Tivoli near Rome and on the other hand to hint at the Vauxhall Gardens in London. Georg Carstensen was the one who initiated the project. He argued the usefulness of the park in front of King Cristian VIII in an extremely pragmatic way, saying "when people have fun, they no longer think of politics". So if you want to forget of the political issues that exist in general in the world, the best would be to take a plane ticket and make a brief visit to Copenhagen. And obviously, do not miss to see Tivoli Gardens.

Holidays in Denmark – Travel Guide
When we were children, we believed in many things: Santa Clause, Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy were part of a long list that made us smile and hope. Well, visiting and spending your holidays in Denmark, you will find your place of fairytales because this country owns a lot to its famous fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen. And this is what Denmark is, a largely green landscape with half-timbered villages, situated in the North part of Europe, slightly attached to upper Germany. It is a Scandinavian country, once a home of great Vikings where you can still find many Viking sites throughout this country. There are 405 islands that are part of Denmark; you will not have to visit them all but we strongly suggest that you give a chance to Zealand, Funen and Jutland. You will be especially pleased to pay a trip to Funen because of its sandy beaches that will provide you with long relaxing moment.
