Travel to Sweden or Kingdom of Sweden, a state located in Northern Europe, eastern part of the Scandinavian Peninsula, with opening to the Baltic Sea. It's bordering north-west Norway, Finland in the northeast, North Sea with the Danish straits in the south-west, and the Baltic Sea to the east and has many islands in the Baltic Sea. Sweden is divided into three historical regions: Götaland, Svealand and Norrland, the fourth being until 1809 Osterland, Finland today. Many of the tourist attractions to see when you travel to Sweden were included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Among them are: Drottningholm Royal Field, Tanum cave engravings. Hanseatic town of Visby on Gotland island, arctic landscape of Lapland, Struve Arc geodesy, Gammelstad Church Town from Lulea Archipelago Kvarken.
